Grumleys can offer you 2 for 1 affiliate membership. Grumleys is in a unique position to offer you not only a way to increase your own business by referring more customers to you, but Grumleys can also provide you with an added service for your existing customers and business.

You can join the Grumleys affiliate program and make commission on the sales of gift baskets and gifts for your customers. You will also gain membership to the Petals Network Affiliate program- for floral orders.

How does Gift Valet work?

Essentially Gift Valet works as a referral service. Customers visit our gift directory http://www.grumleys.com.au/directory/ which shows a list of suppliers in a certain location. Each Valet has an individual listing on our directory.

The customer selects the valet they would like to contact and fills in an online questionnaire, which outlines the details of the gift they would like to arrange. The basic details of the request are then forwarded onto the Valet. The Valet has the option of accepting or rejecting the job at this time with no referral charges applying.

If the job is accepted a referral fee is charged to the valet. From this point the full details are forwarded to the Valet who then takes up communication with the customer directly. All correspondence including payment is then between the Valet and the customer. What charges are involved?

Grumleys has a 3 month Free Trial of its services to make sure that you are happy with us. For the first 3 months of your membership you will not pay any referral fees or directory listings fees. So it is RISK FREE for you to join.

As part of your membership each Valet has the option to personalise and promote their directory listing within the Grumleys Gift Directory. Each valet will receive a tier 5 listing as part of their membership with Grumleys. A tier 5 listing includes Merchant Name, Merchant Address, Opening Hours, Random listing ranking in the directory, Services provided icons.

Optional upgrades to the listings include: Discount Vouchers, Directory Reviews, Your Email displayed on directory, URL display, Short message, Long Message, Upgrade to Tier 3 or Tier 1 listing (appear higher in the directory). Each of these upgrades has an additional charge per month.

We know that most pay per click models are subject to click fraud, and we also know that not every request is going to be one that you can fulfil so we have chosen a success based referral fee. For each referral that you accept from Grumleys we will charge a $5 fee. This is a flat fee per referral.

At the end of each month you will be sent a statement. The statement will detail any accepted referrals and “opted in” directory upgrades, and show a final balance. Payment is due on the 14th of the following month and can be made by direct debit, direct deposit, PayPal or credit card. Charges to the customer.

Once you have accepted the referral from Grumleys all correspondence with and the charging of the customer is taken on by the Valet. Presently there is no Industry standard for hourly rates, but Grumleys expects that you would charge the customer at the appropriate rate for the services you are providing. Generally the per hour price ranges between $35-60 for personal shopping plus the actual cost of the gift.
